A Bit About Diane Divadi

Hello! I’m an experienced live performer in different styles including folk, classic rock, rock and pop ballads, jazz standards and country.

I've loved to sing since I can remember...

I began my vocal training with Dr. L. Scott Martin in Golden, Colorado in the early 1990's. After working with Dr. Scott for a few years, having some studio recording experience and performing live, I completed his voice teacher training program on May 8, 2002 and taught at The Academy of the Arts briefly before starting my family late in 2003.

In 2010 I began performing again in the band From the Heart. Coffee shop troubadours, as a band we played an eclectic array of folk-rock and sprinkled in some originals. During this time I had the wonderful opportunity to co-write some songs with my bandmate Steve Arrington and worked with Doug Furia at his studio, Studio D in Denver to record our ballad, Merlin in 2012.

Long time friend JB Stuart and I formed the band Di & the Guys in late 2012 and performed in the Denver area at many venues, notably The Toad Tavern and The Buffalo Rose in Golden.

During this time, I also did backing vocals on Damaged, the latest album by The Strumrock Project on the songs She Waits and That Girl Drives Me Wild.

In 2014, I came across International vocal coach Kerri Ho, creator and owner of thesongbirdtree.com . I began one-to-one vocal instruction with her and completed her Advanced Singers Training Program and her Vocal Coach Training Program on

December 15, 2014. I am listed as an Associate Vocal Coach at the Songbird Tree website and have had the amazing privilege to coach vocalists in many different countries, including the UK, Japan, Australia and Africa! I traveled to Melbourne, Australia in the Fall of 2016 to assist in the Launching of Kerri Ho's Vocal Revolution Program - an absolutely incredible experience!

I continue to write and sing with my friends. Over the years I've had the extraordinary opportunity to follow my dreams and realize many of them. It's my deeply heartfelt belief that we are given dreams for the reason to make them happen and then encourage others to do the same. That is why one of my greatest joys in life is to work with budding singers just like you to learn how best to use your instrument - your unique voice - and become the singer you were always meant to be!
